As per the directions of our respected Principal Ma’am, an insightful Continuing Medical
Education (CME) programme on World Liver Day & Basics of Medical Astrology was
successfully conducted on 16.04.2026 at 10:00 a.m in the Seminar Hall by Department of
Noi Naadal(Pathology) & Nunnuyirial(Microbiology)
The event featured Dr. P. Prasath, BSMS, MD, MSc(Yoga), Associate Professor at Sivaraj
Siddha Medical College, as the Chief Guest. His presentation masterfully connected the Role
of Siddha physician in diagnosis of liver disease with the traditional wisdom of Medical
Astrology (Maruthuva Jothidam) and providing a holistic perspective on patient diagnosis
and wellness. We extend our sincere gratitude to Madam Principal, Prof. Dr. G. Kavitha for granting us this
valuable opportunity to host such a versatile and academic-rich session.
