SUMMARY
On 5th december, department of aruvai,thol and pal maruthuvam conducted the continued medical education programme which is focused on “Fistula in Ano”.This CME was opened to the students and the staffs in which the approximate attendance is 60. During the CME, attendees shared opinions thoughts and suggestions for consideration during the CME on “Fistula in Ano”.
The key note speaker was Dr.Jelin kethziyal.,MD(S).,Assistant medical officer, Maraneri PHC, Virudhunagar district. Jelin kethziyal spoke about the Anatomy, Clinical examination,
Contraindication,direct rectal examination procedures,symptoms,pathogenesis,aetiology of ano rectal diseases. Later she discussed about the preparation of the Karanool and its usages.
During the day, participants had a opportunity to learnt about karanool preparation. Participants were presented with background information’s and discussion questions. Participants in this session requested for the practical session for further knowledge.
