CME Programme on "Application of AI Tools"
The Department of Noi Anugha Vidhi Ozhukkam (NAVO), RVS Siddha Medical College & Hospital, Kannampalayam, Coimbatore, successfully organized a CME Programme on "Application of AI Tools" for undergraduate students on June 23rd 2026
The programme began with a Welcome Address by Dr. N. Saravanan, MD(S), Associate Professor & Head, Department of NAVO. The Speaker Introduction was given by Mr. M. Subramanian, M.Sc., PGDHA, Biostatistician. The programme was presided over by Prof. Dr. G. Kavitha, MD(S), Principal, who encouraged students to make effective and ethical use of AI in their academic learning.
The resource person, Mr. Sukumar Rangappan, BE, MBA, AI Integrated Sales Coach, delivered an informative session on the applications of Artificial Intelligence in medical education. He demonstrated various AI tools that can help students with learning, presentations, research, literature search, and academic writing. The session was interactive, and students actively participated by asking questions and exploring practical uses of AI.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. J. Mangalavalli, MD(S), Assistant Professor, Department of NAVO.
The CME programme was highly informative and inspired undergraduate students to use AI tools responsibly to enhance their learning, research, and future professional practice.
