Introduction:
As per the guidance by the University Grants Commission (UG C) our Institution
Observed Antiragging day/ week 2025. The Primary aim of this initiative was to foster a
Safe, inclusive, and ragging free environment for all students.
Objectives for the observance:
- To spread the awareness about the harmful effects of ragging.
- To educate students about Anti ragging laws and Institutional Policies
- To build confidence among new students and encourage reporting of ragging incidents.
Activities conducted:
- Awareness Rally
- Essay writing Competition
- Drawing Competetion
- Awareness speech by students
- E- Poster
- Prize distribution
Safety monitoring:
- Antiragging squad to be active through out the week for surveillance.
- No cases of ragging were reported during the observance period..
Outcomes and Impact:
- Increased awareness among first year students about their rights and safety.
- Strengthened students teacher relationship and peer support
